Well that was nice. My manager sat down with me for a few minutes just to talk. She correctly assumed that I hate this place, and hate being here. She wanted to know what I was thinking and perhaps what she could do to make things better. That makes me feel like she's trying at least...
Now, what I don't understand: I had food come up. I was ready for it, it was on the tray and I turned around to get a salad to add to the tray: takes less then half a minute to pick up the salad, add dressing, and turn around to put it on the tray. In that half a minute a manager gave my food to another server because they made a mistake, and wanted me to wait while they remade the food... my guest, my tip, suffers because some one else made a mistake!? Why does this server get to take my food when I'm ready to go out with it? Why shouldn't they wait for the remake? They made the mistake! Own up. I just don't understand what the manager was thinking.
